President - U.S. Operations
Ewoud founded Westplan in 1994 and began structuring US real estate investments in 1996. Before moving with his family to the U.S. in 2002, Ewoud also structured and developed real estate projects focused on in-fill, multi-family, residential projects in The Netherlands. Prior to founding Westplan Mr. Swaak co-founded HRS Makelaardij (a real estate agency) in 1991 in The Netherlands which he sold in 1997.
He obtained a Master of Science degree in Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and studied Real Estate Science at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA.
Ewoud serves as Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands for Georgia and South Carolina. He is also a member of the Real Estate Honorary Board at Georgia State University, the Board of the Netherland-America Foundation, the Board of Advisors of the Netherlands American Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors of the C5 Youth Foundation of Georgia and the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO). He is married to Kimberle and has two children: Evan and Isabella.

President - The Netherlands Operations
Patrick manages the operations for the office in The Netherlands. Before joining Westplan in 1998, he worked at a Rotterdam based investment bank as an independent financial derivative trader and as Manager of Corporate Finance.
He obtained a Master of Science degree in Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Patrick serves as a lecturer at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate of the University of Amsterdam and is a board member of the Entrepreneurs Organization The Netherlands (EO) and founder and former Board Member of Stichting Transparantie Vastgoedfondsen. This foundation aims to advance transparency and professionalization in the market for closed-end real estate funds. Patrick is married to Fraukje and has three children: Trijntje, Jelle and Gilles.

Chief Operating Officer - U.S. Operations
Prior to joining Westplan in 2007, Rob was a Senior Vice President and Team Leader with Wells Fargo Bank working with both public and private real estate companies across a five state territory. He had previously been a Senior Vice President with Wachovia Bank’s real estate group in Atlanta.
Rob obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Auburn University and a Masters in Business Administration from Georgia State University.
He also held a Series 7 securities license. Rob has been actively involved with numerous industry organizations including Urban Land Institute and the Atlanta Apartment Association.
Rob is married to Marissa and has two children: Mason and Hudson.

Chief Operating Officer - The Netherlands Operations
Prior to joining Westplan in 2002, Taco was Managing Director of a brokerage company and Partner in FDC, an insurance brokerage company.
Taco has a Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing from the Business School of The Hague, The Netherlands and a Master of Real Estate at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate at the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Taco is married to Marie-Louise and has four children: Liselotte, Tom, Juliette and Justine.

Chief Financial Officer- The Netherlands Operations
Robert Klok is since 2012 CFO of Westplan. Prior to joining Westplan in 2001, Robert worked at Driebergen Accountants and Ernst & Young.
Robert has a Bachelor’s Honours Degree in Accountancy majoring in Accountant and Management Consultant, qualified to certify.
Robert is married to Heidi and has two children: Julien and Valerie.

Vice-President Retail - U.S. Operations
Prior to joining Westplan Investors in 2009, Mr. Morgan spent five years with Stafford Properties, Inc. in the positions of President, CEO and Senior Vice-President of Leasing where he was responsible for directing the strategic planning, leasing, asset management and property management functions for a 38 center retail portfolio. The portfolio had a value of approximately four-hundred million dollars. Mr. Morgan also spent near ten years with Rothschild Realty/Charter Oak Partners where he directed the field operations and personnel for a $500 million retail portfolio of outlet shopping centers across the US. While working with Rothschild, Rece was responsible for the company’s asset and property management functions, property budgeting process, specialty leasing, lease negotiations, personnel management and served on the project development team. Additionally, Rece spent five years in the late 1980’s with a regional family real estate investment company directing the acquisition and management of distressed retail assets.
Rece obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics from the University of Georgia and completed extensive post graduate studies is real estate, finance and commercial construction. He is also a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land Institute, and serves as a board member of several private real estate investment companies and non-profit charity organizations.
Rece and his wife, Catherine, have three children and live in Alpharetta, Georgia. Prior to moving to Atlanta in 2004, Rece and his family lived near Hilton Head, South Carolina for over twenty years.

Acquisition Officer - U.S. Operations
Prior to joining Westplan in 2007, Emory worked with Cushman and Wakefield’s Apartment Brokerage Services Group where he performed an analyst role for over $2.5 billion in multifamily sales.
Emory graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bucknell University where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration.

Asset Manager - U.S. Operations
Prior to joining Westplan in 2009, Kate was a Development Manager with Inland American Communities Group, Inc. She previously worked for FirstWorthing and Crow Holdings in Dallas, Texas in commercial real estate analysis roles.
Kate graduated from Rice University with a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Economic Analysis.

Asset Manager - U.S. Operations
Prior to joining Westplan in 2011, Melissa was a Portfolio Manager for Provence Real Estate, directly overseeing day-to-day operations, and an Asset Manager for Hathaway Properties, monitoring the third party management groups and high level property issues. She previously worked onsite for Post Properties in Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA.
Melissa earned her BS in Management and Certificate in Operations Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Controller - U.S. Operations
Prior to joining Westplan in 2007, Debby was Controller for Magnum Communications for over 12 years reporting directly to the President.
Debby earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting from Indiana University and attended the Florida Atlantic University Masters Program in Boca Raton, Florida. She obtained her Certified Public Accounting license in 1990. She was licensed in the State of Georgia for professional selling, purchasing and investing in residential real estate from 2005 to 2008.
Debby is married to Jason and has a son, David, and a granddaughter, Diana.

HR Coordinator & Executive Assistant to Ewoud Swaak - U.S. Operations
Prior to joining Westplan in 2008, Annette worked for an Orthopedic Clinic in Atlanta as a Medical Administration Consultant. Annette has 12 years experience in the field of Medical Administration. This included the planning, developing and implementation of efficient health information systems for multiple health care facilities in the fields of family practice, behavioral health, physical and occupational therapy.
Annette is married to Andrei and has a son: Chase.

Accounting Assistant - U.S. Operations
Brooke came to Westplan from an Atlanta area homebuilder where she worked as a software trainer for almost 5 years. Prior to that, she developed her technical background by working administratively for multiple computer resale companies on both the sales and purchasing sides.
Brooke joined the Westplan team as Executive Assistant in April 2008. Brooke is married to Brett, and they have one son: Jack.

Senior Property Manager - U. S. Operations
Prior to joining Westplan in 2010, Beth was Director of Transitions for Colliers, Spectrum, Cauble. Previously, she was Sr. Vice President with The Hawkins Companies where she supervised the management of 6 million square feet of office, retail and industrial and was also Director of Property Management for Spectrum Realty Advisors.
Beth graduated from Georgia State University with a BS degree with a minor concentration in real estate. She holds a Georgia Real Estate brokers license.
Beth is married to Bill and has two children: Meg and Will.

Senior Leasing Representative
Prior to joining Westplan, Tara was a Senior Leasing Executive with Simon Property Group. She successfully managed the leasing of over 1,000,000 square feet of retail space within The Mills portfolio of malls. Earlier in Tara’s career she was the Leasing Representative for North American Properties – Atlanta where she coordinated the pre-leasing of new retail developments across three states.
Tara holds a Bachelor's degree from Georgia State University. She has over eleven years of retail leasing experience and has held her real estate salesperson license since 2000.
Tara is married to Chuck and has two children: Anna and Mya.

Asset Manager
Prior to joining Westplan, Russ was a project manager for Bell Partners Inc., a private commercial real estate development and investment firm. While there, he led a team that provided acquisition due diligence, asset and capital management for a portfolio of over twenty five company owned and third party managed multifamily assets. Russ was also responsible for identifying opportunities, and creating and overseeing capital improvement projects to maximize the value of each assigned asset. Previously, he worked in single family residential development.
Russ earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in Management and is currently completing his Masters of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate from Georgia State University.
Additionally, Russ served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve for over five years as an Infantry NCO.
Russ and his wife Brooke live in Atlanta, Georgia.

Prior to joining the Westplan team in April of 2009, C’Done was a Senior Accountant responsible for commercial real estate portfolios held by German investors in the United States market.
C’Done has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Fort Valley State University.

Chief Building Engineer – U.S. Operations
Prior to Joining Westplan in April of 2009, William worked for Ultima Real Estate Services for 12 years. He progressed to the position of Chief Building Engineer in 2001. He has extensive hands-on building maintenance experience and has had responsibility of over one million square feet of office and retail properties.
Bill and his wife Lori have been married for 29 years and have one son, Geno.
